Help us monitor and record species in the Fens this May

We’ve designed a series of events and activities that people can get involved with during the BioBlitz weekend across Cambridgeshire on 14 and 15 May 2022.

You can choose to join us in key locations to learn how to record your own wildlife findings, or get involved from home. We share what’s on offer below.

Reptile Survey

Find out how to conduct a survey for reptiles in your area - join us anytime between 09:30-11:00 on both days at Fairchild's Meadow in Haddenham!

Grassland & Wildflower Surveys in Haddenham

Join us at Fairchild's Meadow in Haddenham to survey a wildflower meadow to develop species ID skills! Come along anytime between 11:00 and 14:00.

Guided Nature Walk

Enjoy a leisurely walk around this picturesque Cambridgeshire village, develop your species ID skills and have a go at recording wildlife this spring.

Dawn Chorus Walk

Develop your bird ID skills (including bird song recognition) and take part in recording a range of bird species whilst enjoying a guided walk. Booking now closed!
