In celebration of the extension of the NLOW project, join us to look back at the achievements of the project so far, and what to look forward to in the coming months. It will be a great opportunity to meet other volunteers and stakeholders, discuss your ideas, share your feedback and get inspired.
We will also be joined by staff from the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Environmental Records Centre (CPERC) who will be sharing some insight into what is done with survey records collected by our volunteers and their critical importance for environmental monitoring.
We hope to see you there!

Recognised as the very first human language, following signs and tracks to find animals or avoid predators is what humanity has done since our beginnings. It has enabled us to understand and communicate with the wild.
Join us for a free workshop where we relearn the wild language of track and sign with local expert David Wege and learn how to identify wildlife from what they leave behind. From footprints to feeding signs, you will learn skills to help you discover what is living in and moving across the land.
“When we track we feel alive, we feel present, we feel useful, we reignite something that has blazed inside of us since the beginning of time.”
Craig Foster maker of the film ‘My Octopus Teacher’ and author of Amphibious Soul.
Kingfisher Bridge nature reserve is privately owned and managed, and relies on the generosity of visitors to allow its ongoing conservation work. As such, a donation to the nature reserve is kindly requested which can be made upon arrival by cash or card (online).

Graveyards and burial grounds can be havens for a remarkable array of plant and animal life, often providing a refuge for species otherwise pushed out of surrounding areas. As awareness of the importance of these spaces to nature increases, many custodians of graveyards are seeking to adopt management practices that support and enhance ecological value.
This event provides a chance to learn from our invited specialists, and to chat and share ideas with other custodians in the local area.
