Haddenham: Open for Nature Day
- LEARN from the experts on hand to showcase the wildlife that’s living in the local area.
- ENJOY tailor-made talks, tabletop displays and hands-on activities.
- TAKE PART in guided bumblebee walks (at 11.30am, 12.30pm or 1.30pm), botanical surveying and uncovering the species found in the overnight moth trap.
- TALK to wildlife organisations and local groups who’ll be sharing their ongoing work to support wildlife within Cambridgeshire.
- DISCOVER how to set up small mammal traps with the Cambridgeshire Mammal Group from 6pm on the Friday (23rd) and help with opening the traps at 8am on Saturday.
Our main event kicks off at 11am. We will be joined by:

Please bring a picnic with you or alternatively refreshments can be purchased in the village at the local shop, pub or cafés.
Haddenham Parish Council have kindly offered to open the toilet facilities at the nearby recreation ground / Haddenham Park (off Hop Row).
This is a free event. Everyone is welcome, just turn up! Please share with friends and family.
We’ll have Fen End Farm’s organic apple juice for sale so bring along some cash with you if you’d like to buy a bottle!
