NLOW Photography Competition 2025
Calling all wildlife photographers – it’s time to get snappy with the
NLOW Photography Competition 2025!
As the New Life on the Old West project draws to a close, we’re reflecting on the incredible changes it’s made across the fens, from improved habitats on community green spaces to large pond complexes, berms, wildflower meadows, hedgerows and wader scrapes in the heart of the arable landscape near the largely unmodified section of the River Great Ouse they call the “Old West”.
We’re looking for stunning shots that showcase the beauty and biodiversity of our local fenland landscape.
Prizes:
1st prize: £100 John Lewis voucher & your image featured on our website.
Runner-up: £50 John Lewis voucher
How to Enter:
To submit your entry, simply email us at:

Please include the following in your email:
Attach:
- Up to 3 high-quality images (JPEG or PNG, ideally under 10MB each)
In your email, include:
- Your Full Name
- Photo Titles (one for each image)
- Location of Each Photo (Include what3words if taken at an NLOW site)
- Short Caption (1–2 sentences per photo)
- Permission Statement (copy/paste this line below):
“I give permission for my submitted images to be used by the NLOW Project for promotional and display purposes, including at the Wildlife Festival and online, with credit.”
