Track & sign, with David Wege
Learn to read the ground…
16th July, 10.00am to 12.00pm at Kingfisher Bridge Nature Reserve,
Recognised as the very first human language, following signs and tracks to find animals or avoid predators is what humanity has done since our beginnings. It has enabled us to understand and communicate with the wild.
Join us for a free workshop where we relearn the wild language of track and sign with local expert David Wege and learn how to identify wildlife from what they leave behind. From footprints to feeding signs, you will learn skills to help you discover what is living in and moving across the land.
“When we track we feel alive, we feel present, we feel useful, we reignite something that has blazed inside of us since the beginning of time.”
Craig Foster maker of the film ‘My Octopus Teacher’ and author of Amphibious Soul.
Kingfisher Bridge nature reserve is privately owned and managed, and relies on the generosity of visitors to allow its ongoing conservation work. As such, a donation to the nature reserve is kindly requested which can be made upon arrival by cash or card (online).
