Join our BioBlitz weekend: Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th May
BioBlitz weekend: Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th May 2022
We are working in partnership with National Trust Wicken Fen to organise a BioBlitz weekend in May. Alongside our New Life Old West experts, we will be running a programme of events across the project area during the weekend to discover and record a range of wildlife. We hope you can join us!
Why not join Project Manager, Howard Jones, for an early morning dawn chorus walk? Not a morning person? No problem! Spend an afternoon at Fairchild’s Meadow (Haddenham) helping our experts with pollinator and grassland surveys. If you enjoy exploring the countryside – join our Natural Heritage and Communities officer, Laura Allen, for a guided walk around Rampton. Or join the Cambridgeshire Bat Group for an evening of bat recording using detectors.
Please note: all events are FREE but some require registration in advance due to the limited number of spaces available. Please see our programme of events with further details including booking links. For those events which do not require registration, feel free to join us at any time. You can register your interest using the links below to receive updates from the team about each individual activity.
