12th April Work Party: Hedge Planting at Cottenham Old Rec Ground
Saturday 12th April, 10am-2pm
The first of 4-6 work parties we’re planning for this year, with the aim of gapping up and expanding existing hedgerows, planting up ponds with a variety of aquatic plants, and expanding and creating wildflowers meadows.
This work party focusses on the hedge around the NLOW installed pond complex at Cottenham Old Recreation Ground. The hedge has already seen a lot of attention but it needs a bit more ! So we invite you to come along and help us plant some more plants and provide that all important contiguous habitat and a biodiversity boost for years to come.
